Leisure Travel Consultant

Reports to: Leisure Manager

Location: Petersfield Office

Summary: The Leisure Travel Consultant’s primary responsibility is to provide excellent service to our Leisure Client database with all aspects of their Leisure holidays. We continue to revolutionise the way that travel agencies work, with people now more than ever looking for inspirational holidays and booking through social media. Therefore collaboration with the marketing team is essential as you will assist them in creating new material for both the website and other social media platforms. This role will be best suited to a fun-loving, bubbly personality willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with a passion for travel and appreciation for high service levels.

KEY DUTIES

• Selling holidays based on client specifications and wishes
• Maintaining exemplary electronic records for clients
• Sourcing holiday offers
• Managing incoming enquiries through multiple media platforms
• Maintaining and updating product and supplier knowledge
• Attending conferences and familiarisation trips to maintain knowledge with tourism trends as and when required

• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and fully competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is essential.
• Up to date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Demonstrable ability to problem solve in a timely manner
