This year Manchester Airport celebrated the third anniversary of its new-look Terminal Two, which is part of its £1.3bn transformation programme, with exciting new routes including Las Vegas and Shanghai launched in recent months.
The second phase of the terminal’s transformation is now underway, with the original terminal building being given a complete overhaul to bring it up to the same specification as the extension. Once the project is completed in 2025, around three quarters of all Manchester Airport’s passengers will have the benefit of these new, state-of-the-art facilities.
As part of the transformation, 22 new units will open to passengers next summer, including Chanel, Lego, WH Smith and Boots. Before they fly travellers will be able to dine at The Great Northern Market – a 472-seat food hall showcasing the best of Manchester’s street food scene.
Other new cafes, bars and restaurants will include Fever-Tree, JD Wetherspoon, Joe And The Juice and Greggs, plus an extension to the popular Amber Alehouse by Salford brewery Seven Bro7hers. In addition, a new 2,165 square-metre World Duty Free store will feature Christian Dior, Gucci, YSL and Charlotte Tilbury and more.
To celebrate the incredible retail and dining offerings at Manchester Airport, six winners will each receive a £100 Amazon or Love2shop voucher, so they can choose their perfect treat.
