APT and Travelmarvel have promoted two members of its trade sales team after bookings via retail agents and homeworkers soared year-on-year.
National account manager Robin Griffiths will take up the role of national partnerships manager on 2 September.
APT said Griffiths would focus on taking its trade partnerships to the next level, “enhancing them with additional marketing investments, product training, exclusive fam trips and new commercial opportunities”.
In addition, Griffiths will also look to expand the two brands’ distribution through new opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Business development manager Becky Baumbach, meanwhile, has been promoted to the role of national sales manager. She will also take up her new post on 2 September.
In her new role, she will oversee the brands’ three regional BDMs, as well as manage relations with travel’s consortia, and set and achieve quarterly sales targets that align with the company’s key objectives of growth and retail support.
Announcing the promoations, the group also revealed retail sales and bookings via homeworkers had jumped 65% and 67% year-on-year respectively.
Brad Bennetts, head of sales and business development at APT and Travelmarvel, said: “Robin and Becky’s promotions are a testament to their hard work, dedication and the remarkable results they’ve achieved.
“As we continue to expand our product offerings and strengthen our trade partnerships, their expertise will be invaluable in driving our brand forward.
“These changes reflect our commitment to supporting our trade partners and ensuring that APT and Travelmarvel remain at the forefront of the industry, as well as the emphasis we place on recognising our team members’ success and creating opportunities for internal progression within the company.”
