Cruise industry veteran Tony Roberts leaves Warner Hotels after 14 months
Princess Cruises’ former UK boss Tony Roberts has left Warner Hotels after just over a year heading up commercial and leading on a soon-to-be-revealed new brand identity.
Roberts joined the hotel group in April 2023 as chief commercial officer from ultra-luxury line Seabourn. Prior to joining Warner Hotels, Roberts spent 15 months at Seabourn, six and a half years at Princess Cruises and more than 15 years at Carnival UK.
In a LinkedIn post on Saturday (15 June), Roberts wrote: Yesterday [14 June] was my last day at Warner Hotels and I’m hugely grateful for my time with the brand and the fantastic Warner team.
“During my time with the brand, I have restructured the commercial function, developed internal talent and brought fresh talent into the business."
Roberts continued: “As a team, we have developed and implemented a new strategy for the brand. This will launch in the coming weeks through a refreshed identity that will transform the way the brand is perceived by existing and new guests and will permeate every part of the business and guest experience.”
He added: “I have a rare opportunity to take some time off over the coming months and I intend to make the most of that while I prepare for the next exciting opportunity.”
