Crystal Cruises has bolstered its reservations and trade sales operations in the UK and Ireland with the promotion of Stephen Joyner to senior sales manager.
The former A-Rosa River Cruises’ head of sales joined the ultra-luxury ocean line earlier this year and was tasked with growing the line’s trade distribution and commercial reach while enhancing its support for trade partners.
Crystal confirmed that Joyner will continue to focus on these areas in his new role.
Joyner’s promotion comes just days after Andy Magowan, the vice-president of sales for the UK and EMEA region, left the line.
Crystal added that relevant teams have now been localised to support “key" global markets, such as the UK and Ireland and Australia.
The line believes the move will provide agents with a “personalised service” and enhance operational efficiency.
Mary-Beth Meadowcroft, Crystal’s senior vice-president of global sales and reservations, said: "Bringing our trade reservations team in-house is a strategic move that underscores our commitment to providing the highest level of service to our travel partners and guests.
“By centralising our operations, we can ensure more consistent, efficient and personalised support which is crucial for fostering strong relationships and delivering the exceptional experiences that Crystal is known for."
