Riviera Travel has unveiled the maiden programmes for its two new-build river ships – Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose.
The 178-passenger Riviera Radiance will operate six itineraries on the Danube, with 35 departures across 2025.
The eight-day Blue Danube itinerary, available between April and October, leads in from £1,849pp.
While the 114-passenger Riviera Rose will operate a Highlights of the Douro Valley & Salamanca cruise from 1 April 2025. It will offer 30 departures next year.
Prices for the eight-day cruise which features tours of Porto’s old town, Mateus Palace and Castelo Rodrigo, as well as port tastings and a stop in Salamanca, start from £2,099pp.
The sailings will be available to book from 29 February 2024.
If booked by 28 March, guests can save up to £300pp as part of an early booking offer on selected Douro and Danube itineraries on both ships.
Head of product Will Sarson said: “Voyages on Riviera Radiance on the Danube are ideal for both our experienced travellers and those who are yet to try a river cruise, while we are demonstrating our commitment to inclusive travel with a dedicated solo sailing.
“We can now also expand our operations on the Douro with Riviera Rose. The river is a firm favourite with guests and the ship’s eight-day cruise will showcase magnificent architecture and provide plenty of opportunities to sample the famous port on offer.”
