Riviera Travel has strengthened its trade sales team with the appointment of former Prestige Travel business development manager Suzanne Warren as its new key account manager.
Warren, who will take up her new role after Easter on Monday 8 April, will support agents in the south east, reporting into head of trade and partnerships Vicky Billing.
She has previously worked at Saga Cruises, Sunvil Holidays, Constantinou Bros Hotels and Prestige Travel.
Warren will begin her role on the same day as another of Riviera’s new recruits, Amanda Docherty, who was recently named key account manager for homeworkers.
Both Warren and Docherty will join Riviera’s growing trade sales team, which recently recruited Chris McCloskey and Lloyd Morris to support agents across the UK and Ireland.
Billing said: “Suzanne has extensive travel industry experience and will play a crucial role in developing our partnerships in the South East.
“This appointment marks the final addition to our now seven-strong trade team, who are out on the road providing vital support for our trade partners.”
Warren added: “Joining Riviera Travel is an incredible opportunity and I look forward to working with our travel agent partners to grow the brand.”
Riviera trading director Stuart Milan this week told TTG Riviera was expanding its trade sales team as part of a “huge push” to widen distribution in the coming months.
“We will have seven in the on-the-road trade team," he said. "We’re doing a lot to support this trade distribution push."
