We take a look at Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship taking Disney fans on a luxurious new adventure in the Caribbean
For clients looking for a new family adventure in 2025, the launch of Disney Cruise Line’s new ship, Disney Treasure, sailing from Florida will be a hit with Disney fans.
Disney Treasure is the sixth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, sailing this year on seven-night Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral in Florida. Stops include: Cozumel, Mexico, George Town, Grand Cayman, Falmouth, Jamaica, St Thomas, US Virgin Islands and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.
Carrying 4,000 passengers and 1,500 crew, Disney Treasure has 1,256 staterooms, including 53 concierge staterooms and 23 concierge suites. 90% of staterooms on the Treasure have exterior views and 948 (70%) have a verandah.
With luxury interiors and spacious staterooms, Disney Treasure is a Disney Triton Class ship, along with Disney Wish, who had her maiden voyage in July 2022. Whilst the sister ships are similar in size and offering, Disney Treasure has a number of exclusive features. These include Disney: The Tale of Moana, a Broadway-style musical inspired by Disney film and bringing the story of Moana to the stage for the first time. Also new and exclusive to the Disney Treasure is Plaza de Coco – Fiesta on the High Seas, an interactive dining experience themed on Disney’s Coco, and onboard candy shop, Jumbeaux’s Sweets, inspired by Zootopia.
Disney Treasure also sees a shift in design and theme for Disney Cruise Line, with key areas onboard themed around classic Walt Disney World attractions for the first time. The highly anticipated Haunted Mansion Parlour is an immersive bar, bringing the classic ride from Disney’s Magic Kingdom to life. Dimly lit and with a spooky soundtrack, The Haunted Mansion Parlour serves specialty cocktails and is packed with fan-favourite spectral references, including the Hitchhiking Ghosts and Madame Leota who appear in the mirror behind the bar.
In addition, Periscope Pub, a submarine-themed bar, is inspired by the now retired Disney Parks attraction, ‘20,000 Leagues Under the Sea’ and Skipper Society, draws on the much-loved Jungle Cruise at Walt Disney World.
Uniquely situated in the ship’s iconic red funnel is the Tomorrow Tower Suite, a luxury guest suite that honours Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort. Design-led with a slick futuristic theme, the 2000-square foot suite, suite boasts panoramic views and has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a kitchen and a spacious living space. A statute of Epcot’s Spaceship Earth globe centrepiece sits at the foot of the stairs and interacts with guests as they pass by with music and lighting.
Inclusive dining on Disney Treasure is across three restaurants, which have different entertainment and menus to cater for longer cruises. Disney operates a unique rotational dining system, which means servers will move with guests between restaurants during their cruise. There is also a generous buffet, Marceline Market, open for breakfast and lunch and a line of grab-and-go counters on the Lido deck with options including pizza, tacos and burgers, open all day.
Other key areas onboard Disney Cruise Line include the luxury Senses Spa & Salon, water coaster AquaMouse and the inclusive Disney’s Oceaneer Club, a kids’ club for children three years and over. Babysitting services for younger children are available for an additional fee and there is also a large space for older children and teenagers. Disney Treasure has 10 pools and a splash and play area.
For clients interested in child-free areas onboard, there is a wide range of adult-exclusive spaces, including a luxury sun deck and pool at the stern and aged 18+ bars and restaurants.
