Etihad Airways will double its year-round Manchester-Abu Dhabi service to twice-daily from December.
Manchester is one of a number of European airports where the Gulf carrier is poised to add capacity for 2025.
Like Manchester, Paris will gain a second daily Abu Dhabi flight in January.
It means by next July, Etihad will fly twice a day to Barcelona, Frankfurt, Madrid, Manchester, Milan, Munich, Paris, Rome and Zurich from Abu Dhabi.
Dublin is also gaining additional flights, with Etihad set to go up from seven services a week to 10, starting next July.
The new flights are open for booking now. Etihad said they would be timed for convenient morning and evening departures and arrivals.
Beyond Europe, Etihad is increasing frequencies to Bali, Casablanca, Jakarta and Sydney. It said the Bali upgrade to seven flights a week came in response to "massive customer demand".
Travellers from the UK can connect onto services heading further east through Etihad’s Abu Dhabi hub.
Arik De, Etihad’s chief revenue and commercial officer, said the carrier was delivering on its strategic promise to serve more "key destinations" twice-a-day as fast as it can.
"By aligning our schedule to offer 2pm departures from Abu Dhabi, we provide guests with convenient check out times," said De.
"Morning arrivals offer tourists the benefit of early hotel check ins and extra time to explore the city’s attractions, and evening arrivals are ideal for those who prefer a seamless transition after work or other commitments."
Etihad is also gearing up to add Warsaw and Prague to its network.
