Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will launch seven new Greek island routes from its new Bournemouth and Luton bases this summer, while Bristol will gain a new mainland route.
The airline and operator’s new Bournemouth base, its 12th in the UK, will open in early February to catch the end of the winter season, followed by Luton, its 13th, in early April for summer.
Bournemouth and Luton will both have flights to Crete (Heraklion), Rhodes and Zante, while Jet2 will also serve Corfu from Bournemouth route. Bristol, meanwhile, gains flights to Kalamata.
In addition, Jet2 is also putting more than 125 new Greek hotels on sale for summer 2025, increasing its portfolio to more than 1,500 two- to five-star options through 22 Greek destinations.
The new additions contribute to what will be Jet2’s biggest-ever Greece programme, which runs to around three million seats and also features three brand new destinations – Poros, Aegina and Leros.
Poros and Aegina will be served by Jet2’s existing Athens programme from Manchester, Birmingham and Stansted airports, while Leros will be served by Jet2’s existing flights to Kos from nine of its UK bases.
Holidays to all three of the new island destinations will include ferries and onward private or shuttle transfers.
In total, Jet2 will operate upwards of 320 weekly flights to Greece across more than 100 routes during peak periods, serving 14 of the country’s airports; 28 of its UK-Greece routes are Jet2 exclusive.
Steve Heapy, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive, said: “We are experiencing fantastic demand for Greek holidays from customers and independent travel agents, and we look forward to another year of bringing happy holidaymakers to this fantastic destination to experience our flights and holidays.
"We are investing considerably into expanding our Greek operations, while working with our hotel and industry partners to make sure that we boost awareness, fill hotels, and create the best holiday memories."
