Jet2 waved off its first flight to Porto this morning (4th July), with the inaugural departure from Manchester airport.
Jet2 said the programme of flights and breaks to the Portuguese city was brought forward 12 months due to demand. Flights will run from Manchester on Thursday and Sunday until 17 November.
Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will also operate to Porto from Birmingham from 27 March 2025 with twice-weekly services on the same days.
Jet2CityBreaks’ Discover More packages are also on sale and include a Douro Valley wine tour.
Luis Pedro Martins, Porto and North of Portugal Tourism Board president, said: “We welcome this new operation, which is the culmination of work we began with Jet2 about three years ago.”
