Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has revealed its eighth Christmas market destination, which it will launch next winter off the back of strong demand from agents and their clients.
The airline and operator has confirmed it will launch twice-weekly services to Poland’s Gdansk from Manchester and Birmingham airports. Flights will operate every Monday and Friday between 29 November and 23 December to give people the opportunity to see the city’s famous Christmas markets.
“There is a huge amount of demand for Christmas market breaks from customers and independent travel agents, so we are delighted to announce the launch of Christmas market flights and trips to Gdansk for winter 2024/25 for the first time,” said Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive Steve Heapy.
Heapy added: “Gdansk is a fantastic Christmas market destination, and we are expecting these new flights and city breaks to be extremely popular.
Jet2 has put seven Christmas market routes on sale in recent weeks, including Belfast International to Krakow, Glasgow to Vienna and Manchester to Berlin. The UK’s largest Atol holder has also launched its first Christmas market programme from Liverpool airport.
