A handful of new Jet2.com routes are poised to take off this summer, which will seen Birmingham and Edinburgh airports gain direct links to several popular destinations for the first time.
The airline and operator is launching three new routes from Birmingham airport this spring, including its first BHX service to Montenegro’s Tivat, which took off on Thursday (2 May).
Jet2 will operate the route twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays until 31 October. Jet2’s first BHX flights to Bergen and Lesvos, meanwhile, will take off later this month.
Bergen will be offered as two Jet2CityBreaks Discover More departures on Thursday 9 May and Thursday 16 May, while weekly Sunday flights to Lesvos will get under way on 26 May.
In total, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has put 55 sun and city break destinations on sale from Birmingham this summer.
Jet2 will also serve Malta for the first time from Edinburgh this summer; weekly flights to the island got under way on Wednesday (1 May) operating through to 30 October, opening up opportunities to visit neighbouring Gozo.
Edinburgh will accommodate 33 Jet2.com and Jet2holidays routes this summer.
