Lindblad Expeditions is the global leader and pioneer of expedition cruising; we invented the category when our founder’s father Lars Eric Lindblad led the first non-scientific civilian expedition to Antarctica in 1966 and then again to the Galápagos Islands the following year.
Now, more than 50 years later, we have a diverse fleet of 16 ships (10 owned, 6 leased) sailing to more than 120 countries and territories on all seven continents across our 170 more unique itineraries. We also recognize that it is our responsibility – and our mission – to leave these places better than we found them.
The Expedition Cruise Network (ECN) is a commercial B2B membership organisation whose purpose is to connect expedition cruise operators with travel-trade professionals, in order to promote expedition cruising as an incredible choice for travellers from across the world. We are also a voice for the sector that seeks to represent it in an authentic, trustworthy, and consistent manner. |
Our mission is to create an engaged travel trade community that shares a passion for expedition cruising as a form of travel, to grow the sector, and to act as the sector’s voice in the travel industry and beyond.
