Protected Trust Services (PTS) is already planning its next conference for 18 months’ time, after receiving positive feedback from attendees.
It’s been a busy few months for the 15-year-old consortium, which, following a period of significant growth, unveiled new branding and hosted its first conference in September.
The conference feedback is now in, and PTS is pleased to report it will be back with a bigger and better event in 2026 – taking into account all of the member and supplier comments it received.
Responses included: “Meeting different PTS members with different business models and ideas was inspiring”, and “I got a much better sense of PTS, I feel reassured we made a good choice to work with them, and are in good hands… PTS do care about our individual businesses”.
While the feedback was overwhelmingly positive, PTS wants to emphasise it will carefully consider any aspects of the event that worked less well.
Not only was the conference – held at Mercure Warwickshire Walton Hall Hotel & Spa – a great networking opportunity for members and suppliers (80 members and 33 suppliers attended), but PTS says it was a fantastic chance for its staff to get to know members better as well.
It’s keen to emphasise that those interested in joining – something chief executive Daniel Landen describes as a “no brainer” – are welcome to pop into its offices for a chat; particularly its new Sunderland offices, where the sales team are based. There are also offices in Bournemouth and Fleetwood, and existing members and suppliers are of course welcome, too.
PTS is also working to make its model clearer to understand – which the new branding is already helping with.
Features of the consortium include currency hedging; merchant services, with card services through its in-house providers; franchise Atol; travel software; PTR compliance; supplier insurance; and trust account protection.
Members have access to PTS’ 200+ suppliers, but have the freedom to choose their own, too. The consortium is backed by the Travel Trust Association account.
PTS, which has a presence at WTM London this month, is growing and excited to be aiming for 1,000 members within the next five years. It is hopeful that with its clearer proposition it can reach more people who need support with their business.
