With new James Bond movie No Time To Die shining a spotlight on Jamaica, where it is set, Abra Dunsby reveals three new packages to recommend to 007 fans planning a visit.
A stay at GoldenEye, James Bond author Ian Fleming’s original 1950s Jamaican hideaway, is a must for 007 fans. It’s where the character of Bond was born, and Fleming continued to write many of the James Bond novels here.
Helen Baker, senior travel adviser and Jamaica specialist at Caribtours, says: "We love the fun and funky design of GoldenEye’s colourful Beach Huts – we’d especially recommend the Tall Beach Huts which are raised up on stilts to make the most of the cooling sea breezes."
Book it: Caribtours offers seven nights’ B&B at GoldenEye from £2,949pp based on two sharing a One Bedroom Beach Hut, departing 17 January, 2022. Offer valid for travel between 4 Jan and 19 Dec, 2022.
This guest package from Round Hill Hotel & Villas includes an hour-long Shaken Not Stirred Mixology class, a tour of Rose Hall Great House, where scenes from Live and Let Die were filmed, and an optional Spy for A Day Experience add-on, which features a helicopter ride to Port Antonio and a picnic lunch at the Folly Oval ruins.
