Air Charter Service will host the ‘How to Charter a Private Jet’ webinar, including tips on selling charter flights to clients, on Wednesday 2 December at 11am.

The global aircraft charter company reported a 258% increase in private jet enquiries as a result of the UK Government’s initial air corridors announcement, and a 93% increase in new customers.

The webinar will be hosted by Gavin Copus, global business development director at Air Charter Service, and Jessica Howes, senior manager of private jets for London, and agents participating in the webinar will also be entered into competitions for the chance to win bottles of Nyetimber English sparkling wine.

Data from the company shows the huge appetite for private jet travel continues and offers “a lucrative opportunity for agents to upsell to customers who would usually fly in business or first class”.

The webinar will educate agents on how to secure clients and contracts for private jet travel, talk them through ACS’s booking system, explain quotations, talk about the range of jets available to charter and the possible commission.

“In light of the pandemic, we are seeing an increase in demand for people now looking to fly privately due to reasons of hygiene, accessibility and flexibility in comparison to commercial flights,” said Copus. “After seeing a consistent rise in enquiries and bookings from first time private jet flyers this year, we wanted to host a webinar to educate travel agents on how to capitalise on this opportunity by simplifying the charter-selling process and offering tips on how they can upsell to their customers.”

Air Charter Service arranges more than 23,000 charter flights annually with revenue of close to $700 million and employs more than 450 staff worldwide, with access to over 50,000 aircraft globally.

Travel agents can sign up to the complimentary webinar by registering via the link here.
