A&K expands programme of mountain expeditions

The trips include destinations such as the Himalayas, the Alps and Andes, with accommodation for guests at exclusive mobile camps, which include the services of an expedition chef.

Activities range from climbing a volcano to searching for elusive snow leopards and heli-skiing or skydiving.

Kerry Golds, A&K’s group managing director, said: “A&K was born out of a love of exploring when almost 60 years ago, Geoffrey Kent, in a rebellious teenage mood, rode a motorbike from Nairobi to Cape Town. From day one, A&K has strived to deliver experiences, not just ’humble holidays’.
