A&K’s Expedition Mountaineering programme is designed to take advantage of an increase in the popularity of climbing in recent years.
The trips include destinations such as the Himalayas, the Alps and Andes, with accommodation for guests at exclusive mobile camps, which include the services of an expedition chef.
Activities range from climbing a volcano to searching for elusive snow leopards and heli-skiing or skydiving.
Kerry Golds, A&K’s group managing director, said: “A&K was born out of a love of exploring when almost 60 years ago, Geoffrey Kent, in a rebellious teenage mood, rode a motorbike from Nairobi to Cape Town. From day one, A&K has strived to deliver experiences, not just ’humble holidays’.
“More and more people are discovering climbing as a way to reconnect with others in the great outdoors. Boosting physical and mental wellbeing are obvious benefits, but we’re finding that people want to re-embrace with the natural world after too much time spent inside.
“Dream big when thinking of your next expedition holiday – we can arrange an array of adrenaline-fuelled activities, from parachuting from helicopters and touring by motorcycle to heli-skiing and paragliding.”
