Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas has launched a collection of mega-sized private pool residences as the final stage of the renovation at the resort.
The duo of two-bedroom overwater pool residences are the final stages of a multi-million-dollar project which started in 2020 and also saw the redesign of the island’s two-, three- and four-bedroom beach pool residences.
The resort, which is now in its 10th year, said the changes created around the seven residences have now created an “exclusive collection of Maldivian accommodation experiences that is the pinnacle of palatial seclusion and ideal for multi-generational holidays and larger group travel”.
The 1,500 sq. m overwater residences have professional working kitchens; living and dining rooms; two bedrooms; infinity pools and outdoor dining salas; as well as newly added gyms with TechnoGym equipment. There’s also a couple’s spa room, including glass floor panels underneath the treatment beds, while glass-bottomed whirlpool bathtubs have also been fitted in each bathroom.
On the island, there are enhancements to the collection of beach pool residences, including the 2,000 sq. m four-bedroom option. A connecting door at the end of the garden adjoins a standalone villa fitted with its own en-suite room, infinity pool and dining pavilion, which means the residence can now sleep 12.
Each residence comes with a dedicated villa host with wine sommelier, personal chef and baby-sitting services on request, and the two-bedroom overwater pool residence leads in at $9,000 per night.
