Azamara has launched a new programme aimed at business professionals allowing them to work at sea.
With Starlink’s high-speed internet onboard, office equipment and IT support, guests can work on the line’s ships as part of Azamara’s “Work & Wander” programme.
Passengers can access monitors, mice, keyboards and adapters, ensuring they can stay connected with colleagues and attend virtual meetings, the line said.
The programme also includes late night and overnight calls – called Extended Destination Days – that “allow ample time to roam the world”.
Extended Destination Days are port calls lasting more than 10 hours.
President Carol Cabezas said: “Our guests already consider our ships to be a home away from home, and now our ships can be their floating office too, as we bring them to some of the most captivating destinations around the world.”
Prices for the 12-night Caribbean Breezes Voyage – part of the Work & Wander programme – departing from Fort Lauderdale, US, on 30 November start from £2,252pp.
While the 17-night Australia/New Zealand Voyage departing from Melbourne on 4 January 2024, which is also part of the programme, leads in from £2,794pp.
