Banyan Tree will now be known as Banyan Group following the decision to tweak its name to reflect the multiple brands under the Banyan umbrella
To coincide with its 30th anniversary in 2024, Banyan Group has launched new wellbeing app Beyond offering a personal wellbeing assessment and digital and physical experiences to enhance wellness, plus a full library of content curated by experts.
Alongside the app, users can purchase a Restorative Rest bundle that includes five products designed to aid relaxation. A new members programme ’withBanyan’ has also been introduced that offers perks for every stay booked, exclusive member rates for unique Banyan experiences, plus invites to new destinations.
To cement its relationship with the travel trade, the group is also planning to host 11 pop-ups this year.
Meanwhile as part of its commitment to sustainability, the company will also align with United Nations Climate Science-based Targets in 2024 to develop a comprehensive 2030 Sustainability Roadmap that addresses its environmental impact and sets clear targets for a greener future.
“As Banyan Group celebrates our collective success over the last 30 years, we also recognize that the progress can’t stop here,” said Banyan’s Group’s senior vice president Ren Yung Ho. “The core beliefs and values that have guided Banyan Group to this milestone will continue to underpin our growth strategy as we remain dedicated to being a force for positive change for both people and the planet.”
Following record growth in 2023, the hotelier has previously revealed a strong development pipeline for 2024 that includes 19 new openings in Cambodia, China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and Mexico.
The group currently manages 12 global brands, 75 hotels and resorts, more than 60 spas and galleries and 14 branded residences across 22 countries.
