The all-inclusive Barcelo Tenerife has welcomed its first guests following a full renovation, which included the launch of two a la carte restaurants.
The €8 million renovation included rebuilding and refurbishing the hotel, which has been inspired by the volcanic landscape in the neighbouring San Blas Environmental Reserve. The property is located on the south of the island, on the coast of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
All 331 rooms offer terraces, and 59 are within the Royal Level, giving guests access to exclusive facilities and services.
The five-star property has also expanded its gastronomy offering, with the introduction of the a la carte Italian Dolce Vita Restaurant, which is designed in the style of a Tuscan trattoria. The new Arrozante Restaurant has an al fresco terrace overlooking the ocean.
Barcelo Tenerife offers direct access to the beach, seven outdoor pools and a lake within the grounds of the hotel, which guests can kayak around. The resort also has tennis courts, a cycling centre and two 18-hole golf courses.
In the San Blas Nature Reserve, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy guided hiking, mountain biking and Nordic walking tours around the volcanic terrain.
