The island of Formentera will welcome independent boutique hotel Teranka this summer, offering 35 rooms and dining from two Michelin-starred chefs.
The hotel is located by Migjorn beach and will offer a roof terrace, beach access and a sculpture garden. The 35 bedrooms and suites will be set across three levels.
Dining experiences will include Vert Mer by Andalusian chef Juan Martín and French fine dining by three Michelin-starred chef Emmanuel Renaut. Nobu Formentera on the hotel’s rooftop brings fellow Michelin-starred chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s signature dishes to the Balearic island.
Creative installations, sculptures and art will be dotted throughout the property and guests can relax in its Mediterranean gardens, on its shaded yoga and meditation terrace and on the daybeds and loungers around the swimming pool.
A spokesperson said: “Embodying the essence of this unique island in the Balearics, Teranka maintains a creative, laidback feel through its design while being surrounded by unspoilt natural beauty.”
