British Airways has begun serving Abu Dhabi again from London after a four-year pause in connectivity.
BA’s daily Heathrow-Abu Dhabi service took off on Sunday (21 April) flying to Zayed International airport. Britain’s flag carrier will operate the route using a four-cabin 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
Flights depart London at 10.25pm arriving in Abu Dhabi at 8.30am (+1). Returns depart Abu Dhabi at 10.10am arriving in London at 3.20pm.
Calum Laming, BA’s chief customer officer, said the route would open up a range of onward connections via Abu Dhabi.
Elena Sorlini, managing director and chief executive of Abu Dhabi Airports, added BA’s return would strengthen business and tourism links between the two countries.
