British Pullman, A Belmond Train, has reimagined its Murder Mystery Experience, which will launch in March and run on a bi-monthly basis until the end of the year.
British Pullman has appointed Private Drama Events to create a new onboard murder mystery experience, revolving around the 1951 Festival of Britain. It will be offered on 18 trips, all departing from and returning to London Victoria station.
Guests will be treated to a glass of champagne before a five-course lunch is served. The art deco carriages – including one designed by filmmaker Wes Anderson – will immerse passengers in the fictional atmosphere, and guests will receive an illustrated souvenir brochure.
Adam Blackwood, the creative director and founder of Private Drama Events, said: “Our team has consulted closely with the British Pullman’s team; from creating bespoke costumes which draw inspiration from the original patterns and detailing in the carriages, all the way through to scripting an innovative and intricate mystery that gradually unfolds to reveal true hidden gems from within the Belmond archives.”
