Bulgari Hotels & Resorts is set to open its 13th property, with the Bulgari Resort Ranfushi scheduled to welcome guests in 2025.
The Bulgari Resort Ranfushi, which means ‘Little Gold Island’ in Maldivian, will be located in the Raa Atoll, 45 minutes by seaplane from Maldives’ Male airport.
The resort will spread across 20 hectares, offering 54 villas, including the Bulgari Villa on a separate exclusive island. The 33 beach villas will all feature individual pools and there will also be 20 overwater villas.
Guests will be able to dine at four restaurants. The Italian Il Ristorante – Niko Romito is curated by the three Michelin starred chef Niko Romito, while the Chinese fine-dining Bao Li Xuan is the twin of the two Michelin starred restaurant at Bulgari Hotel Shanghai. Hoseki is a Japanese concept already present at Bulgari Resort Dubai and there will also be Italian beach food at La Spiaggia.
The resort will also offer a Bulgari Bar, the Bulgari Spa, a fitness centre, yoga pavilion and a private library. Sustainability initiatives include creating an island to host nesting birds.
Bulgari chief executive Jean-Christophe Babin said: “We are particularly proud to have secured such an extraordinary location for the new Bulgari Resort Ranfushi, as the Maldives are a key destination for our clients from all over the world.
“We are convinced this new gem of a hospitality addition will ensure once again the highest levels of quality and innovation to our international customers and we look forward to sharing with them the Bulgari values in hospitality at this new, very exclusive location.”
