Bulgari to open in June close to flagship store

The Bulgari Hotel Roma, in the brand’s hometown, will be its second in Italy and ninth worldwide. 
 
Located in Piazza Augusto Imperatore, Bulgari Hotel Roma occupies a restored 1930s rationalist building in front of the Mausoleum of Emperor Augustus.

It’s a stone’s throw from the Spanish Steps and the Bulgari flagship store on Via Condotti.

The building’s renovation has created 114 rooms and suites with design details including made-to-measure tapestries, Murano crystals and lamps and hand-made bathroom mosaic rosettes. 
 
Six restaurants and bars will include rooftop terrace La Terrazza, inspired by the gardens of ancient Roman villas such as Villa di Livia and Villa Adriana. 

The Bulgari Spa will meanwhile recreate the atmosphere of ancient Roman baths through marble columns, stained glass windows and mosaic patterns inspired by the historic Terme di Caracalla Baths.
 
The hotel will also have a unique Reading Room, containing precious books dedicated to Roman art, design, history, and architecture and available to the public by appointment.

’Temple’ of luxury

The opening of Bulgari Hotel Roma in June follows the recent opening of Bulgari Hotel Tokyo. The next Bulgari Hotels & Resorts openings will be in the Maldives (2025), Miami Beach (2025), and Los Angeles (2026).
