Luxury operator Carrier is to hold its first ‘Summit’ for agents next month to learn about its plans for 2025, including details of two new product launches.
The invitation-only event will take place on 25 November at the Corinthia London in Westminster. It is part of Carrier’s efforts to build an “an exclusive community” of agents and builds on The Retreat event which was held in Corfu earlier this year.
Carrier’s The Summit will include guest speakers and panel discussions, with agents also able to meet with key suppliers and members of the operator’s senior team.
Lee Marshall, Carrier’s head of trade partnerships, said: “Many of our agents are homeworkers or sole business owners and there’s a strong appetite amongst them for deeper human connection beyond just the products we and they sell.
“The community we’re creating share their experiences, provide peer-to-peer support and unlock extraordinary potential. We’re a community committed to learning from each other and helping each other grow and we actively involve these agents in our own journey.”
Carrier revealed that The Retreat, which was held in May at the Grecotel Corfu Imperial, had helped to create £1 million in “incremental” sales from the nearly 30 agents who attended the event. The Summit will also include a reunion breakfast for these agents.
In another move, Carrier has announced that its 2025 annual awards ceremony will be held at the BAFTA headquarters on Piccadilly in central London on 6 March 2025.
