Luxury tour operator Carrier is providing extra support to agents during the peaks booking period with the latest edition of its Carrier, The Paper publication, as well as a new guide to travel for 2023.
The upmarket brand, which is part of Der Touristik Group, has launched a gastronomy-focused edition of Carrier, The Paper featuring articles on culinary journeys in Asia, South Africa’s secret supper clubs and the luxury all-inclusive operator Ikos Resorts.
The operator is also giving “preferred” partners the opportunity to co-brand Carrier, The Paper, which it said offers agents “a useful tool for new acquisition” by engaging with wealthy clients through story-telling.
Carrier has also unveiled Savour, which is a round-up of where to go in 2023, including 50 trips recommended by the operator’s staff. The publication is split into five chapters under titles such as Secret Ingredients, Sweet Sanctuary and Soul Food.
The Savour campaign includes “multi-faceted” support to agents and has been overbranded for 20 of Carrier’s preferred partners. There is also a campaign marketing tool kit featuring assets such as window displays, videos, digital mini-brochure and images for agents to use.
Raj Mistry, Carrier’s national partnerships manager, said: “We know that the agents we work with really value our support with marketing and helping them understand how they can make themselves stand out in the marketplace, especially during key booking periods such as peaks.
“As well as providing them with a beautiful printed piece to inspire their clients, we supply an array of assets and work with our partners to provide tips on how to best utilise digital channels such as social media, which always seems to be well received.”
