Families staying at COMO Hotels and Resorts will get the chance to learn about how to be an astronaut this summer.
The upmarket luxury resort brand will be hosting special Space Camps led by two female astronauts at properties in Thailand, Bali and the Maldives.
Nicola Stott, formerly of US space agency NASA, and Sara Sabry, the world’s first female Arab astronaut, will lead the camps in July and August, which will include creative learning for children focused on space travel and star-gazing.
The first camp takes place at COMO Point Yamu in Thailand on 9-14 July when participants can learn about how humans impact life beyond the earth’s atmosphere.
COMO Uma Canggu hosts the second event on 17-23 July which will include a banquet and the chance to find out how ingredients are grown in orbit.
The final camp will be at COMO Maalifushi in the Maldives from 28 July to 6 August when kids can design their own space suits and take part in astronaut-inspired fitness challenges.
