Newly appointed Corinthia Hotels CEO Simon Casson has joined the speaker line-up for next month’s TTG Luxury annual conference.
Casson took up his new role with Corinthia in April after more than 30 years at Four Seasons, departing the brand as president EMEA responsible for more than 40 hotels across 26 countries.
Corinthia said Casson joins “at a pivotal time to elevate and grow the brand” overseeing new openings in New York and Brussels this year and Bucharest and Rome in 2025.
Delegates will be able to hear Casson’s insights on luxury travel during the half-day conference taking place at the Kimpton Fitzroy in London on the afternoon of 17 October.
The TTG Luxury Travel Summit, in association with the Spanish Tourist Office, forms part of Day of Luxury, which also features Luxpo, where hand-picked agents will take part in one-to-one meetings with luxury-focused suppliers.
Joining Casson on the programme will be Manuel Butler, UK director of the Spanish Tourist Office, whose career representing Spain’s tourism interests at the highest level overseas spans more than 25 years, and Carrier managing director Natasha Towey, who led the operator to its best trade sales year to date in 2023.
The trio join previously announced speakers, including Kempinski Group chief Barbara Muckermann, Stylus’ chief futurist Dr Antonia Ward, and Belmond’s head of environment and social impact Carmel McQuaid.
Tickets for the event are on sale now, costing £225 (+VAT), and include lunch, the conference and a post-event drinks reception at Kimpton Fitzroy.
All Luxpo attendees and sponsors benefit from a complimentary place at the TTG Luxury Travel Summit.
Any delegate who attends the summit also receives a free Stylus trends report, packed with insight into customer attitudes and trends to help shape business change.
