Elegant Resorts has launched a range of “bucket list” trips under the umbrella of a new soft brand, The Experience Collection by Elegant Resorts.
Featuring everything from island hopping to upscale rail travel, expedition cruising to wilderness safaris, the new collection highlights some of the operator’s most dream destinations via a range of 17 new itineraries.
With 2024 bookings to Vietnam up 50% year-on-year, the collection’s new Vietnam’s Cities, Culture and Coast 16-day exploration includes deluxe boat and train journeys from north to south, a private cooking demonstration by one of the country’s best-known chefs and the chance to cycle to meet the isolated fishing community of Viet Hai.
As bookings to the US and Canada continue to prove popular – currently 5% up year on year and accounting for almost a quarter of Elegant Resorts’ bucket list trips – the tour making the Experience Collection is an “enthralling new self-drive” christened Yellowstone Scenes and Cowboy Dreams and going from Chicago to some of America’s most pristine national parks.
“I’m delighted to be launching our new Experience Collection. As experts in luxury travel, we appreciate the importance of unforgettable moments that create memories which will stay with people for years to come,” said managing director Lisa Fitzell.
“To me, an important part of travelling is really diving into a destination by going beyond the tourist world and opening yourself up to new connections. That’s why we make our escapes truly unique by including immersive activities that bring guests to the heart of a location, from a rickshaw tour through Delhi to authentic cooking classes in Morocco.”
Other new itineraries in the Experience Collection by Elegant Resorts include Incas and the Andes; Luxury Namibian Self-Drive; Ultimate Kenyan Safari; The Golden Route and Okinawa, Japan; and The Essence of Australia, with all trips merging iconic sights and experiences with unique and interesting twists.
