Emerald Cruises has started the two-month countdown to the launch of its first oceangoing superyacht, Emerald Azzurra.
The custom-built superyacht carries a maximum of 100 guests per journey in 50 deluxe suites and staterooms and will depart for its maiden voyage on 11 March from Aqaba in Jordan, following an eight-day Best of the Red Sea itinerary.
Emerald Azzurra will be able to travel to ports and harbours usually only accessible to smaller vessels and will sail a second itinerary in the Red Sea ahead of its spring and summer season which will also feature the Mediterranean and Adriatic coast.
The superyacht has a marina platform for watersports, Zodiacs, and three tenders, while activities will include guided kayaking tours, diving and paddleboarding sessions. The vessel also has an infinity-style pool on the top deck and a wellness centre with spa, gym, and sauna.
The Best of the Red Sea itinerary will call at ports in Egypt and Israel and prices for the inaugural sailing on 11 March 2022 start from £3,625 per person, including return UK flights, transfers, all tipping and gratuities, and all on board meals, as well as included excursions and experiences.
Emerald said there were “just a few cabins left” for the inaugural season, with bookings featuring a free Premium Drinks Package for unlimited drinks on board.
An “early payment discount” of £400 per couple also applies for those booking and paying in full by 18 February 2022.
