Domes Novos Santorini will be the twelfth property to join the luxury hotel group’s fast-growing portfolio when it launches in April.
Luxury hospitality brand Domes will open its twelfth hotel next month in Santorini, marking its inaugural property on the idyllic Greek island.
Located in the north western region of Tholos, Domes Novos Santorini will feature 50 suites and two villas, all of which include their own private pools and terraces overlooking the Aegean Sea. This family-friendly resort aims to provide a retreat away from the chaos of Thira’s more touristy pockets, as well as an opportunity for authentic engagement with the local community and environment.
Guests can also expect a number of culinary experiences anchored by interactive elements, including vineyard tours and tastings, immersive cooking classes and workshops with winemakers.
Meanwhile, Domes’ new gourmet restaurant, Vatanee, will offer traditional Greek dishes like handmake alipastas, pickles and cured meats, all served ‘meze’ to reflect the Mediterranean values of shared meals and communal dining.
Its signature Soma Spa, ‘The Refined’, again embraces the local culture, offering Greek spa rituals combined with contemporary methods and volcanic infused treatments. An underground pool and a state-of-the art gym, where guests are encouraged to re-energise and ‘challenge their senses’, are also available. For those who prefer a slower way to recharge, meditation and yoga sessions can be enjoyed in the resort’s grapevine gardens.
Sustainability is also central to the hotel’s striking aesthetic, with Kiros Pagkalidis Architects using local materials like volcanic stone and blonde oak to create its neutral palette of terracotta, fresh whites and ashy greys.
Domes Novos Santorini will open in April 2024 with rates starting at £187 per night.
