The Revitalise Collection features 18 new tours across 10 destinations including Sri Lanka, Oman, the Maldives, India and south-east Asia.

They will all feature fewer stops and less transit; small boutique hotels; and local experiences, and aim to emphasise “a slower travel pace”, tending to be 10- to 14-day durations, and featuring just two bases in a single country.

The operator said the programme is “designed for travellers seeking to relax and revitalise while also immersing themselves in a destination, with a focus on straightforward travel planning and ethical local experiences”.

The Revitalise Collection encapsulates how people are likely to look to travel in the new Covid era, and trips are organised under Remote and Switched Off; Active and Restorative; Uncomplicated Adventures; Into the Wild; Curious Journeys; and Surrounded by Nature.

Trips range from from £3,000 to £9,700 per person and are targeted for travel from this autumn through to spring 2022, when these destinations are at their traditional best weather-wise anyway. Each deal will also include a complimentary experience, room night or meal.

“Our customers are curious travellers keen to immerse themselves in the places they visit, so the collection deliberately avoids bland, ‘could-be-anywhere’ resorts, and every hotel and experience has been carefully chosen to reveal the fabric of the destination,” said Experience Travel Group co-founder and managing director Sam Clark.

“As soon as restrictions are lifted, travellers will be seeking both the magic of new experiences and a much-needed break. That’s exactly what Revitalise provides – relaxation re-imagined for the curious traveller.”

Experience Travel Group has also already developed its own peace-of-mind Covid-19 promise should clients’ trips be impacted by the pandemic. Key points of this include flexible low deposits; destination, date and name changes up to one month before travel (with an admin fee); Covid-19 ‘no quibble’ guaranteed refund (excluding non-recoverable flight costs); and a £1,000 voucher to be used on a future booking.
