Four Seasons has opened its latest US property in the south Florida resort of Fort Lauderdale.
Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale has been designed by architect Kobi Karp with one of its central features being the two-storey lobby.
The property offers 189 rooms and suites, including the Birch Oceanfront Terrace Suite, which caters for up to six guests and has its own terrace with ocean views.
The Ocean Sun Deck features two pools and the hotel’s signature restaurant, Evelyn’s Fort Lauderdale, while there is also a dedicated area for Four Seasons’ guests on the beach with a concierge on hand to plan activities, such as water sports.
Other venues include the all-day lounge Honey Fitz, which is named after the presidential yacht made famous by John F Kennedy. Another restaurant overlooking Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard is set to open in the autumn. Guests can also take advantage of the resort’s Spa at Four Seasons.
Christian Clerc, Four Seasons’ president – hotels and resorts, said: “We are setting the stage to experience one of America’s most beloved seaside communities in an entirely new way.”
