The world’s largest collection of luxury travel agents is to host its Elevate Connections series in the UK and the US this summer.
Global Travel Collection’s Elevate Connections will see agents and suppliers gather in London, Los Angeles and New York in June, August and September, and will now happen every other year. The company’s flagship Elevate conference will then take place in spring 2025.
Over the trilogy of one-day gatherings, advisors can expect expert-led talks, training workshops and networking opportunities, all of which are intended to “elevate” the expertise of the Global Travel Collection membership and equip them with the skills needed to succeed in the industry.
“By creating a forum in which our advisors can share ideas, learn from each other and build relationships, we can help them fulfil their clients’ most extraordinary travel experiences,” said Angie Licea, president at Global Travel Collection. “Elevate Connections provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our thriving community of travel advisors and help them strengthen connections with our valued supplier partners.”
GTC is part of Internova Travel Group and now counts more than 1,500 advisors among its membership worldwide.
Its conference series will commence in London, where 60 travel advisors will join 80 partners at Hotel Cafe Royal for the Summer Soiree event on 19 June.
The US-based events will kick off later in the summer, with the first hosting 200 advisors and 120 partners at Los Angeles’ Fairmont Century Plaza on 8 August. The third and final instalment in the series will take place at Pier Sixty on New York City’s famous Chelsea Piers on 19 September.
Each event will cover the latest trends in luxury travel, introduce agents to industry leaders and provide opportunity to build new connections.
Advisors will also be able to workshop ideas at breakout rooms on the leisure, corporate and entertainment sectors, explore resources at the GTC Experience Room, and quiz leadership representatives at Ask Us Anything sessions.
Experiential breakouts on adventure, culinary and wellness in the travel industry will be another staple on each agenda.
