Luxury hotelier Grecotel has unveiled a raft of new villas and enhancements to its 40 properties across Greece, including two new hotels in Corfu and the Athens Riviera.
New boutique hotel The Roc Club will debut on the Athenian Riviera beside Vouliagmeni Lake this May, offering 35 guest rooms and suites, a rooftop lounge, a pool and a mineral spa fed by natural thermal springs.
New villas will also be unveiled at Cape Sounio beach resort, close to Athens, this May. The airy and light-filled private pool villas will have views of the ancient Temple of Poseidon, and the resort will launch several new dining venues.
To coincide with the 2024 Olympics, Grecotel’s Mandola Rosa villa collection – part of the Grecotel Riviera Olympia complex of four resorts – will curate new Olympic-themed experiences for families, close to ancient Olympia, site of the original Olympic games.
The company’s all-inclusive Luxme brand will be expanded too, with the inclusion of the new Costa Botanica in Corfu and the newly-renovated Kos Imperial on the island of Kos, while all six Luxme resorts will now feature exclusive seafood bar restaurant Lobsteria.
In Corfu, a new waterfront villa collection with private pools and sea decks, brand new penthouse suites and family suites will be open for bookings at the Corfu Imperial resort this season, while Eva Palace will introduce revamped rooms and a new Stone Beach Club in freshly-landscaped grounds.
Meanwhile, Amirandes on the island of Crete has undergone a complete room makeover and its Minotaur restaurant – featuring original Picasso artwork – features new menus and culinary collaborations.
Also in Crete, the family-focused Marine Palace is relaunching this season as a seaside village-style resort with new rooms and bungalows arranged in traditional Cretan neighbourhoods with shops, restaurants, a new spa and wellness centre plus a waterpark.
