Olga Polizzi has created a new hotel brand called The Polizzi Collection for her three properties in southern England.
Polizzi, who is the sister of Rocco Forte and deputy chairman of Rocco Forte Hotels, owns Hotel Tresanton in Cornwall, Devon’s Hotel Endsleigh and the recently acquired The Star in Alfriston, East Sussex.
The family-run hotel group will see Polizzi continue to work with her two daughters Alex and Charlie on the properties.
Alex Polizzi, who is best known for presenting TV show The Hotel Inspector, is in partnership with her mother at The Star, which has just closed for a major renovation with a planned reopening in summer 2020.
“Given our recent acquisition of The Star at Alfriston, it made sense to bring our three hotels together, and make them more aligned,” explained Olga Polizzi.
“A great many of our guests are fervent fans of either Endsleigh or Tresanton; we would like them to try both hotels and now all three hotels.
“Tresanton has wonderful views across the sea to St Anthony’s lighthouse, Endsleigh is set deep in the countryside in one of Humphry Repton’s historic gardens, The Star is in an unspoilt medieval village at the foot of the South Downs – they are each so different, yet complementary.”
