Huvafen Fushi Maldives has reopened following an extensive renovation, with a number of new accommodation options set to launch later this season.
Huvafen Fushi originally opened in 2004 and during its recent renovation all 46 bungalows and pavilions were “thoughtfully revitalised” with new interiors.
A range of new accommodation options will also debut later this season, including the two-bedroom Ocean Pavilions, which are private retreats with uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean. The new two-bedroom Beach House has large open-plan social spaces and a generous master bedroom, and guests can also opt for the upgraded three-bedroom Beach Pavilion.
The experiences at Huvafen have also been reimagined and expanded, with a number of new activities and opportunities available. .
General manager Noel Cameron said: "We’re overjoyed to announce the reopening of our beloved island resort. The dedication and hard work that went into this renovation are evident in every detail. We look forward to welcoming our guests to experience the epitome of Maldivian luxury in its new and enhanced form."
The resort was the first in the Maldives to offer plunge pools in every room, and is home to the world’s first and only underwater spa treatment rooms.
Prices start from £945 per room per night, based on two sharing a Lagoon Bungalow with pool including breakfast and excluding taxes and fees.
