The luxury tour operator will offer trips to Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe following its successful South Africa launch in 2022.
If Only has announced the expansion of its southern Africa programme in response to an ‘overwhelming demand’ from agents to further explore the region.
The luxury tour operator will now offer product in Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe, bringing its total number of properties on the vast continent to 101. The update follows the successful launch of its South Africa portfolio in 2022, which now includes eight tours of varying lengths and themes, as well as 51 hotels and lodges.
To mark the milestone, If Only has unveiled a new southern Africa brochure for agents with further information about the itineraries of the recently added destinations.
The 36-page brochure has been described by the brand as an ‘invaluable resource’ for the trade, featuring insider insights from its product manager as well as ‘tips and tricks’ for all types of travellers. It will officially make its debut on 25 April and is expected to preface future expansion in the region for the operator.
If Only will also promote its southern Africa tours by creating personalised visual itineraries for each destination.
Speaking about the addition, general manager Gordon McCreadie said, “For quotes and bookings for southern Africa our team will bring them to life with bespoke video itineraries tailored to each enquiry showcasing the destination and hotels clients will be travelling to so they can watch again and again and share with friends.”
If Only also offers tours to Arabia, the Indian Ocean, USA, Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, Australasia, the Far East, India and Sri Lanka.
To celebrate the launch of the southern Africa programme, agents will be offered double rewards on If Only’s My Loyalty Scheme for any booking made until 30 June, with every booking made also being put into a prize draw to win a place on a Cape Town fam trip later this year.
