Ikos Resorts is bolstering its portfolio with the addition of Ikos Odisia, which is slated to launch in Corfu on 19 May 2023.
Ikos Odisia will be the luxury all-inclusive brand’s sixth property, and the second in Corfu alongside Ikos Dassia, which is located across Dassia Bay.
The five-star newcomer is in an elevated beachfront location, with views across the Ionian Sea. The 395-room property has been designed by Nimand Architects, with a range of rooms, suites, bungalows, and villas. The deluxe collection suites will offer benefits including pre-arrival planning via a personal concierge.
The 60-acre resort will offer 10 heated outdoor and indoor pools, including kids’ and adults-only pools, and a 420m white sand beach. On the beach a waiter service is planned, alongside 30 minutes of free childcare for children over the age of four.
Youngsters can also join the resort’s complimentary kids’ clubs for children and teens aged four to 17, with babysitting services available.
The group’s all-inclusive Infinite Lifestyle concept enables guests to dine on-site at five a la carte restaurants or at select local establishments. They can also use the Ikos Spa, the fitness centre and sports facilities, and try a range of outdoor activities.
The resort is a 25-minute drive from Corfu International airport and 20km away from the Unesco site of Old Town Corfu.
It will collaborate with local suppliers and is expected to generate 700 new jobs, with at least half the positions filled by locals.
Ikos Odisia will also establish sustainable hotel operations under the Ikos Green programme, including being carbon neutral and implementing zero waste initiatives.
