The 22nd ILTM Cannes took place from 4-7 December, marking the largest-ever edition of the event, attracting more than 2,100 buyers from 83 countries.
The luxury travel event also welcomed 2,100 exhibitors representing 330 brands, with more than 82,000 one-to-one meetings taking place, alongside an extensive programme of networking events.
The global flagship event for the ILTM Portfolio featured presentations from speakers including global strategist Tina Fordham, Gusto Collective founder and CEO Aaron Lau, and World Experience Organisation founder and CEO Jason Wallman. ILTM Cannes also hosted more than 90 travel editors, including TTG Luxury’s editor and publisher April Hutchinson.
Catherine Gallagher, training and product specialist at Travel Matters, said: “This is my first ILTM and what I have found here is the “ungooglable” – special experiences and products I didn’t know existed. Meetings are set up so well, I have been able to meet people I know, people I knew of, and more. I would love to return next year.”
Marett Taylor, chief sales officer at Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group, said: "We chose ILTM to showcase Crystal Cruises, now part of the A&K Travel Group, because of its unparalleled ability to connect us with the most influential luxury travel curators globally. The event enabled successful meetings with new contacts, existing agency partners, and most importantly, agency owners who drive this market. We are thrilled with the connections made and opportunities gained through participation."
ILTM Portfolio’s 2024 schedule includes ILTM Latin America from 7-10 May 2024, ILTM Asia Pacific from 1-4 July 2024, ILTM North America from 23-26 September 2024 and ILTM Cannes from 2-5 December 2024.
