Inspiring Travel has added nine new European cities to its portfolio, enhancing its selection of short breaks across the continent in celebration of its 50th anniversary.

The operator, which is one of four brands under ITC, will now offer trips to Amsterdam, Berlin, Budapest, Milan, Munich, Porto, Prague, Verona, and Vienna.

The new itineraries include The European Golden Triangle, which covers Budapest, Prague, and Vienna; a combination of Porto with the Douro Valley; and a tri-centre holiday featuring Venice, Verona, and Lake Garda.

The Highlights of Porto and the Douro Valley features an indulgent private food tour in Porto, wine tasting and a boat ride on the Douro, river as well as an exploration of the Unesco World Heritage cities of Braga and Guimaraes.

Guests will stay in three of Portugal’s finest hotels: Maison Albar Hotels Le Monumental Palace; Six Senses Douro Valley; and The Yeatman, as part of the seven-night trip, which costs from £8,369 per person including accommodation and flights.

"Providing these new options enables our Inspiring Travel clients to enjoy additional short city breaks, Christmas markets, pre- and post-river cruise options, as well as brand new itineraries,” said Alice Tetlow, Inspiring Travel senior product executive for Europe. “We’re seeing more multi-centre bookings and we are listening to our clients’ needs.”
