Jennifer Hartnett has been promoted to a new role with Colletts Collection, tasked with overseeing growth of the luxury B2B touring brand.
Hartnett joined Colletts parent Global Travel Collection UK last year from Loveholidays, and was promptly appointed to the role of tour operations and contracts manager.
In her new head of contracting post, Hartnett will be responsible for contracting, tour operations and marketing, reporting to GTC UK managing director Jason Oshiokpekhai.
It follows the departure of Colletts Travel managing director Neil Robinson, who has joined Norad Travel Group.
Overall management of the Colletts Travel brand will fall under Oshiokpekhai, who also oversees GTC brands Protravel International, Tzell Travel Group and Scotia Travel in the UK.
"Jennifer has been integral to the success of the business since joining the Colletts Collection team,” said Oshiokpekhai.
“We are on solid footing to drive our leisure division, where we have seen an uptake of new leisure advisors looking to join Colletts, in addition to the expansion of our luxury B2B tour operating arm, Colletts Collection.”
Hartnett added, “I am excited about the growth we are seeing at Colletts Collection and looking forward to continuing the successful collaboration we have had with GTC agents so far.
"The pandemic reminded agents of the importance of driving new sources of revenue and diversifying their independent business models into leisure markets.
"We are pleased to have been able to support them in exploring these new revenue streams and hope to expand to continue to boost their businesses within the luxury travel arena.
"Looking ahead, we are looking forward to the much-anticipated extension of Colletts Collection’s services to wider UK industry."
Colletts Collection is open to enquiries from agencies keen to work with the brand, and any travel groups keen to explore a deeper relationship.
