Upcoming London hotel The BoTree has partnered with scent designer Jo Malone CBE, and will be one of the first hotels in the world to offer the Jo Loves Pomelo Collection in every guest room.
The 199-key BoTree is set to launch this summer, at the intersection of Marylebone and Mayfair, and will be sister hotel to Middle Eight in Covent Garden and The Guardsman in Westminster.
Guests will be able to use the Jo Loves Pomelo Collection in their rooms, which is sulphate, paraben and cruelty free, and Vegan Trademarked. It’s distributed by Vanity Group, which is the only hotel amenity provider to be certified by animal welfare group Peta, and packaging is created using plastic that is at risk of ending up in the ocean.
Malone said: “I am so excited The BoTree will be one of the first hotels in the world where guests can enjoy the Pomelo amenities in their room. This was the first fragrance I created for Jo Loves and is all about dreams and being the very best of yourself. It’s inspired by the beach and that all things are possible. I hope guests enjoy the energising, uplifting notes, and the scent helps them create their own memorable moments during their stay.”
The hotel will be a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ Legend Collection, featuring bars, two restaurants, a club, a boutique screening room and fitness centre.
Rishi Sachdev, founder of The BoTree, said: “Our commitment to Conscious Luxury involves making choices that ensure our people, the planet and our communities flourish. Jo Loves is one such choice. A world class amenity that our guests will enjoy whilst impacting the world around us in a positive way.”
