Kempinski has assumed management of two hotels in downtown Dubai and has relaunched them in line with the global hotelier’s brand.
In a partnership with Abu Dhabi National Hotels, the two properties – formerly known as Address Boulevard and Address Dubai Mall – have now been rebranded as Kempinski the Boulevard Dubai and Kempinski Central Avenue Dubai and reopened with revamped rooms and facilities.
The 72-storey Kempinski the Boulevard Dubai has 198 rooms and suites, with modern brasserie-style cuisine served at four restaurants - The Living Room, The Kitchen, The Collection Room and The Dining Room. Three outdoor swimming pools, a 760-square-metre spa with a hammam, salt and steam rooms, plus a kids’ club complete the urban resort facilities.
Close by, the 245-room Kempinski Hotel Central Avenue Dubai is connected to Dubai Mall and all rooms have a balcony with views of the city’s iconic skyline. The hotel’s restaurants feature modern Middle Eastern cuisine, afternoon tea and home-style international dining, while a spa offers signature ritual treatments and bespoke wellness programs.
“This important milestone marks an enormous step forward for Kempinski and cements our role as one of the dominant luxury hotel brands in the Middle East,” said Kempinski’s board of directors chair Rene Nijhof.
“Following a record year of performance, we will continue to grow our portfolio across the region in 2024 and beyond,” he added.
According to Kempinski, Dubai was one of its best-performing destinations globally in 2023. This acquisition doubles the company’s footprint in Dubai, which already includes Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates and Kempinski Hotel & Residences Palm Jumeirah.
Khalid Anib, chief executive of Abu Dhabi National Hotels, added: “The Kempinski brand is a symbol of excellence that represents the very best of European hospitality. The company’s strong track record and expertise in the region makes it an ideal partner to usher these two hotels into the next era.”
