New wellness hospitality brand Siro has launched in Dubai, opening its first hotel in the new One Za’abeel development.
The new Siro One Za’abeel is part of Kerzner International and is its first holistic fitness and recovery resort, offering up transformative wellness programmes and personal guidance from leading health experts that can be tailored to everyone from committed athletes to wellbeing-focused travellers.
The hotel’s minimalist guestrooms are designed to enhance relaxation and optimise sleep conditions, and include six fitness suites with personal gyms and six recovery suites with in-room treatment spaces.
Each room features floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of Dubai’s city skyline, wake-up technology with automatic motorized blackout blinds, and thermo-regulating mattresses ensuring optimal sleep conditions.
An in-room ’recovery cabinet’ is stocked with exercise essentials such as an exercise ball, stretch bands, meditation cushion, yoga mat, and stretch ladder, while minibars only include healthy options such as fresh blueberries, ginger shots, coconut water, kombucha, and protein sachets.
Alongside its wellness-focused rooms, the hotel features large dedicated areas such as the Fitness Lab, hosting group classes including boxing, group cycling and HIIT. There’s also a Recovery Lab, hosting yoga, reformer pilates, meditation, breath-work, and sound healing sessions.
As well as state-of-the-art fitness facilities, off-site activities such as desert bike rides, mountain treks, dune buggy trips, indoor diving, padel tennis, football, and golf sessions are offered to guests through Siro One Za’abeel’s partners.
Guests at the hotel have access to both holistic offerings and cutting-edge treatments to improve physical and mental health including IV therapy, red light therapy, sound and vibration therapy, and cryotherapy. Specialist muscle treatments such as myofascial cupping massages, assisted stretching and dry needling trigger point therapy are also available.
Meanwhile, healthy dining options compliment guests’ wellness journeys with to-go snacks at the Refuel bar and in-room meals that can be tailored by Siro’s in-house nutritionist.
“Prioritising fitness, recovery and self-care has become a way of life for many, and has evolved into a facet of modern life,” said Philippe Zuber, CEO of Kerzner International. “Siro is our direct response to this new normal. It’s our incubator concept, a merging of science and innovation to create a space that not only positively blurs the lines of wellness and hospitality but also brings together a community of like-minded individuals who want to enjoy the immediate benefits of fitness while future-proofing their health.”
In the near future, Siro plans to expand the brand to destinations including Boka in Montenegro, Tokyo in Japan and Cabo in Mexico.
