King Jason Zante has officially opened its doors, marking the fourth addition to the Exclusive Collection by Louis Hotels’ Greek portfolio.

Situated on the north-east coast of Zante, the all-inclusive resort is adults-only and celebrates the ‘power of water and pleasures of slow living’. The property consists of 87 suites and guest rooms; 34 of which are ‘island swim-up suites’ built on their own private pools.

The hotel offers three dining options; Haroub, serving Levantine dishes, Pisco, an open kitchen with a Peruvian-fusion menu, and Watergarden, an all-day restaurant spotlighting Mediterranean cuisine. A chef’s table is also possible to book for guests who prefer to dine in private.

For midday refreshments, guests can head to the Main Bar overlooking the pool, while afternoon wine tastings are best had at the Overwater Bar by the pool. There’s also a Patisserie and Coffee Bar, serving indulgent sweet treats and beverages to round off the evening.

The Purai Spa offers a number of personalised wellness treatments for guests, as well as a sauna, a steam room, an outdoor hydrotherapy pool, a relaxation space and a modern fitness studio. Yoga, pilates, morning meditation and ‘slow-life classes’ are also available, along with workshops on ancient tea rituals, reflective olive picking and sound healing.

The resort has recruited leading spa experts to furnish its wellness suites, with thermal areas supplied by sauna specialists Harvia and treatment beds courtesy of Italian wellness company Lemi.

Guests at King Jason Zante will also have the opportunity to visit the protected habitats of the monk seal and the breeding grounds of the loggerhead turtle, both of which are endangered species on the island. Other activities include cookery classes, horseback riding and boat tours.

Nightly rates will start from around £281 per room on an all-inclusive basis.
