Louis Hotels to bring luxury to Zakynthos with King Jason Zante launch
King Jason Zante is set to be the fourth property in Exclusive Collection by Louis Hotels’ portfolio when it launches in Zakynthos this summer.
The adult-only resort overlooking the bay of Tsilivi aims to perfect the “art of slow living” in the hope of redefining the luxury hotel experience.
There will be 87 villas linked by 10,000 square metres of infinity pools, and the aim is to make guests feel immersed in the natural elements from the moment they check in.
“Everything is about taking things slowly at King Jason Zante,” Elena Panayides, Ambassador and Curator of Exclusive Collection by Louis Hotels, told TTG Luxury.
She added that guests could expect authentic experiences such as olive oil tasting, culinary lessons and horse riding, all of which are infused with the “Greek essence that cannot be found in any other southern European country”.
Tours to visit the protected habitats of the monk seal and the breeding grounds of the loggerhead turtle, both of which are endangered species, further nod to this emphasis on locality and nature.
This ethos also continues in the hotel’s Purai Spa, which offers garden meditations and olive leaf picking guided by a designated “Slowness Coach”.
Tea rituals, gentle yoga and sound healing are also available, as part of the property’s commitment to providing a sensory retreat from the stresses of modern life.
There are also three restaurants – Pisco, a Peruvian-fusion open kitchen; Haroub, serving up soulful Levantine flavours; and the Watergarden, offering lavish themed buffets.
For daytime drinks, guests can head to the Main Bar overlooking the pool, while afternoon wine tastings are best had at the Overwater Bar by the pool. There’s also a Patisserie and Coffee Bar, serving indulgent sweet treats and beverages to round off the evening.
Panayides said she expected King Jason Zante to be popular with guests for whom health and wellness is a priority, noting that its serene atmosphere makes it particularly suitable for romantic getaways, honeymoon couples and solo travellers.
Nightly rates will start from around £281 per room on an all-inclusive basis.
Exclusive Collection by Louis Hotels’ other three hotels are in Mykonos and Crete. Luxury travel advisors will also be able to meet with the brand at the upcoming Luxpo event on 8 April.
